ADO Air 20 has a single gear. However, you can choose to use 3 levels of electrical power to assist your ride. Besides, ADO Air 20 is equipped with a smart torque sensor system that provides you immediate power assistance according to terrain. In this case, even if you ride or start the ride on an incline, you will get the assistance you need immediately even with a single gear.
Yes, ADO Air 20 is IPX5 waterproof and the IPS display is IPX7 waterproof, all electronic components are sealed to prevent ingress of heavy rain and dust.
Is ADO Air 20 certified?
According to SGS CE EN15194 and SGS UKCA, ADO Air 20 conforms to the requirements of: Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), the EMC Directive (2014/30/EU), and the Radio Equipment Directive (2014/53/EU), and DIN EN 15194:2017, and ADO Air 20 battery complies with UN 38.3 lithium-ion battery testing standards.
What is the difference between the International and EU versions? Which option is best for me?
Check the e-bike laws in your country when making your decision:
* EU version to be compliant with laws on e-bikes in most EU-countries: no throttle installed, max speed 25km/h, peak power 250w.
* International version with no restrictions: throttle installed, max speed 30km/h, peak power 350w.
If you order the international version of ADO Air 20 within the EU, you will receive a charger that meets EU specifications.But it is not officially legal to drive ADO Air 20 international version on public roads in the EU. You are only allowed to own it and drive it on private property.
How long is the warranty period?
For bike frame, 5 years warranty; For controllers, motors, batteries, forks, head tubes, handlebars, chargers, pedals, flywheels, chainstays: 12 months warranty. After having previously owned an A20F...
After having previously owned an A20F, I knew what to expect with the ADO brand; great quality, great functionality, and great value for money. The A20 air does not disappoint. It's much lighter, easier to fold and a great looking bike. The range is fantastic, and can mostly be used in the first assist mode. There's some great design touches; I love the battery in the seat post, the carbon drive belt and the gearless torque motor. This is on the whole a fantastic bike and I would recommend it without reservation.
