How Do We Build a Laboratory That Meets the Industry's High Standards?
By building a world-class testing ecosystem, ADO ensures that every e-bike we deliver is safe, durable, and designed to perform under real-world conditions.

In the rapidly growing electric mobility sector, innovation and reliability go hand in hand. At ADO, we believe that every e-bike must undergo rigorous testing to ensure safety, durability, and top-level performance. That’s why we have invested heavily in building a professional laboratory that not only serves our R&D needs but also sets a benchmark for the industry.
Covering 3,300 square meters, the ADO Technology Center is the heart of our research, testing, and trial production. Our team of 32 dedicated R&D technicians—supported by external experts including doctors, masters, and senior engineers—drives continuous innovation. To date, ADO has secured 11 invention patents, 22 utility model patents, 3 software copyrights, and 13 design patents.
Within the Technology Center, we also established a Qualified Testing Laboratory (QTL) accredited by SGS, one of the world’s most recognized testing and certification bodies. This certification marked a milestone, as ADO became the first in the electric travel industry to receive QTL accreditation for low-carbon projects.
In May 2022, we officially launched our professional e-bike laboratory, with an investment of $2.5 million across 800 square meters. The project is divided into two key phases:
With $1.5 million invested, we developed 34 essential testing capabilities. This phase focused on quality assessment of prototypes and mass-produced products. Crucially, our lab also passed SGS certification, validating our commitment to international standards.
With an additional $1 million investment, we aim to upgrade the lab into a CNAS-accredited facility, recognized internationally. Once completed, the lab will not only support ADO’s internal testing but also provide third-party testing and certification services.
As outdoor sports products, electric bicycles are used in various natural environments. ADO's natural environment laboratory is designed to simulate these conditions, allowing for comprehensive testing to enhance product quality. Currently, the laboratory can replicate extreme conditions such as high and low temperatures, high humidity, thermal shock, salt spray corrosion, and strong UV radiation.
By building a world-class testing ecosystem, ADO ensures that every e-bike we deliver is safe, durable, and designed to perform under real-world conditions. Our collaboration with SGS and our continuous push towards CNAS accreditation demonstrate a clear commitment: to not only meet but exceed the industry's highest standards.
In a market where safety and sustainability are non-negotiable, ADO is leading the way in combining advanced R&D with globally recognized certifications. For riders, this means one thing—complete confidence in every journey.
